New: Make interactive presentations with polls in Swipe

We’ve been describing a vision for two-way presentations for a long time at Swipe. A way to turn static projector-based one-way experiences into something that brings a presenter closer to their audience and makes collaboration possible. Our first step to help you create those two-way interactions is through polls.

Polls in Swipe

Polls in Swipe take seconds to build and we think they’re by far the most beautiful polls on the internet. They’re designed to look great on any device right in the browser. For now we have a maximum of four answer options, but we expect to extend that in the future and give you more flexibility in asking questions.

To try it out, just edit one of your existing decks or create a new one and look for the new “Poll” option in the “Content” section in the left sidebar. From there it’s a one step process: enter a question, your answers, and add the poll to your deck.

Polls in viewer

You can view the results right in Swipe by clicking the poll thumbnail while you’re editing a deck. We’re planning to extend how this works and make it easy to download the data and also interact with results in a live situation.

Results in Polls in Swipe

Learn how prepared your students are. See what your clients really want from your product. Get honest, real-time feedback from a huge conference crowd. Polls in Swipe make your presentation alive and interactive, and they will only get better. We are really excited to say goodbye to the “raise your hands if you agree” phenomenon.

Let us know what you think of polls in Swipe, we always love hearing from you!
